Via St. Austell
By Road: M5 to Exeter. Then to St. Austell via A30 through Okehampton, Launceston, Bodmin.
After Bodmin take A391 to St Austell. or: M5 to Exeter. Then via Plymouth, Tamar Bridge on A38. from Dobwalls take A390 to St Austell.

By Rail:
Services to St Austell from London (Paddington) or cross-country via Bristol.

By Air:
through Newquay Airport (served from London Stansted) from Newquay A3058 to St. Austell.

By Sea:
From France (Roscoff, Brittany) to Plymouth. From Plymouth A38 to Cornwall, Liskeard. From Dobwalls A390 to St. Austell.

  • For Llawnroc Inn, Chute Lane, Gorran Haven Tel 01726 843461
  • Go west on "by pass" (A390) around/through St. Austell. Pass Roundabout (ASDA)
  • At next roundabout (B&Q) turn left on B3273 to Mevagissey. 'Lost Gardens of Heligan'.

  • Pass Pentewan (Beach, Campsite)

  • Go uphill from Pentewan. At top of hill take right turn signposted Gorran, 'Lost Gardens of Heligan'.

  • Continue on this road past 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' through 'Gorran High Lanes'. Do Not take right turns to camp sites.

  • Pass through Gorran Churchtown (pub "Barleysheaf") take left turn by garage, then take next right to Gorran Haven.

  • Continue down Bell Hill to 'triangle' (green area at road junction with telephone box)

  • Turn left at 'Triangle' via Cook's Level and Chute Lane to LLAWNROC INN.

  • For Bodrugan Barton Farm Accommodation, Portmellon, Tel 01726 842094
  • The best way of approach is through Mevagissey and Portmellon.
  • Instructions, as for Gorran Haven, until:

  • Go up hill from Pentewan. At top of hill go straight on with main road into Mevagissey (i.e. do not turn right to Gorran, Lost Gardens of Heligan)

  • Follow the one-way system and road through centre of Mevagissey towards Portmellon and Gorran.

  • Go through Portmellon cove, past "Rising Sun" Inn and on up steep hill.

  • At top of hill, at second sharp corner, turn left into Bodrugan Barton.

  • For other accommodation please ask.
